About Us
Our Story
Ride Like a Girl emerged from years of being one of the few women in male-dominated mountain biking groups. What started as a personal challenge has grown into a vision of creating a community where female riders can thrive, challenge themselves, and embrace their athletic femininity.
Our Mission
We’re transforming the mountain biking landscape for women through thoughtfully designed programs that combine skill development with community connection. Through monthly group rides, youth mentorship programs, and more. We’re breaking down the barriers that have kept women from fully experiencing the joy of mountain biking.
Community Values
We believe that every woman deserves to feel confident and supported on the trails. Our community celebrates diversity in riding styles and personal expression – whether you prefer to hit the trails in makeup or covered in mud (or both!). We’re working toward an environment where questions are encouraged, challenges are embraced, and achievements are celebrated.
Our Programs
Our group rides bring women together for skill-building and adventure. We focus on essential skills like bike maintenance, trail navigation, and conquering challenging terrain. We’re inspiring the next generation of female riders to dream big and ride bold.
Private Coaching
Jo brings years of dedicated cycling experience to every coaching session. Her journey has been shaped by extensive training with professional coaches across various disciplines. She specializes in developing technical abilities, mastering downhill riding, improving sprint performance, and building overall confidence on the trails. Jo’s coaching style combines technical expertise with an understanding of the unique challenges women face in mountain biking.
